Olave Rumors confirmed and put to rest

So as expected on the conference call with RSL GM Garth Lagerwey it was confirmed that River did make an offer for Jamison Olave, and as I predicted and expected it was soundly rejected.

I don't believe that anyone will make an offer that would be large enough for RSL to consider giving up a big part of the core of the team, Olave has a great future in MLS and beyond.  If we can get MLS officials to understand that he really is that fast and to stop thinking he must have committed a foul to get the ball away from the opposing players, then expect to see him on the 2010 MLS All Star team.
