MLSgear.com has the first batch of new MLS jerseys available (click here) For RSL only the home kit is listed but you get 4 choices: pregame, long sleeve, short sleeve, and the long awaited womens.

Get rid of the piping

the yellow piping is a bit much, it would be a better kit without it. I am still hoping RSL does a Blue or Black 3rd kit this year.

if it was symmetrical. I don’t understand what the fascination is with asymmetrical stripes and piping and such. Almost all the most iconic shirt designs in soccer history have been symmetrical apart from the team logo patch and shirt sponsor, the one exception being the classic diagonal sash design.

Anyway, despite the piping I like our shirt. I’ll be buying one.

seems like an afterthought

I am sure I will end up with one, my wall at work will need a 2010 kit, but I really thing the piping looks like an afterthought. And now that I look at the pictures I hope their color is off as well, the red looks much more red than our current kits.

I am holding out a lot of hope on the 3rd, but sure that Adidas will push some yellow crap on them.

Wait, we are the champs

Where is the star or cup or whatever is supposed to be there?

I don’t really like the piping either, and the three stripes on the sleeves, epecially on the long sleeve version, look stupid. But really, our shirts last year are so good looking I think anything else would be a disappointment to me.
