I would love to see Saprissa for sure… If we have sabo still and against his old team that would be amazing. I would love to see those teams here in feb kicking around the T90 Hi-Vis “yellow” ball when its 20-30 degrees outside. I would venture a guess to say that those teams wouldnt like RioT anyway but they would hate it more with snow

A Crew-Salt Lake matchup would guarantee an American team in the semis for the first time ever!
But I’d rather see two. RSL-Saprissa would be the best.
Wake up, things might get rough. No need to stress, keeps you down too much. Wake up, I heard they found a solution. Where will you be for the Revolution?
Do we...
Have to win the tournament to go to Japan? Or do we just have to make it to the semi’s? Or already going to Japan? Still some gray area for me.
We are in the Quarterfinals of the CONCACAF grouping. To make the tournament in Japan we need to win the tournament to become the “CONCACAF Representative” so to speak.

Correct
and remember that we are playing for the spot in the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup, which would make the whole process about 3 years but well worth it and I think RSL has a very solid chance of making it to the finals of the CCL, and we all know what happens when others come to “El Castillo”.
Club World Cup Outline
The FIFA Club World Cup setup is as follows:
1) AFC- Asian Champions League Champion
2) CAF- The African Champions Cup
3) UEFA- The UEFA Champions League
4) CONCACAF- CCL
5)OFC- The Oceania
6)CONMEBOL- South America
7) The Host Country
Each one of these groups has one representative. So for RSL to make it we need to win the CCL. I have faith in the claret-cobalt. Jason will have the team ready when the time comes.
Since Sabo is cup tied with us does he get to fininsh CCL with us even if he is still not contracted with us? With all the success i bet RSL will find a way to keep him so it wont be an issue

No
He would have to be under contract with us to play for us, but he can’t play for anyone else in the tournament. I believe they will, it is just a question of what Scion FC wants for a transfer fee, the rumor is 1 million and RSL would have to play that fee, plus his salary up to the DP limit.
Thats what i assumed. Do your think RSL is willing to shell out DP money for sabo? He seems to be the perfect model for Jason’s system. He has definitely bought into “the team is the star” 100%. I think they will but do you think that would leave robbie findley on the outside looking in?
