What MLS forward would you pick for the USMNT?
So a lot of talk has been going on the last couple months about who Bob Bradley should take from MLS at forward to bolster the USMNT roster? In a couple months Bob Bradley will need to submit his roster to FIFA, so let's take a vote.
Well I thought it would be interesting to see what you all think, but I am going to toss a wildcard into the mix, but think about who you think would be the best addition to the USMNT roster.
If you have other thoughts than what I listed, post them under comments.
I am torn between voting for potential vs. results, but if I had to pick today I would have to go with Edson Buddle, his partnership with Landon Donovan has him on fire and the Galaxy are 2-0 because of his 3 goals.

Not trying to be a homer. I just think Findley offers a skill set different from anyone else on the bubble.
Agree
However, given his chances he has yet to deliver on the big stage. He will need to be might impressive over the next few weeks to convince me that perhaps Buddle, who plays with Landycakes on a regular basis isn’t a better choice right now.
Then you have to consider what is happening to Hercules Gomez, all of a sudden he has come to life after years of lackluster performances in MLS. Which makes me wonder if soccer in Mexico is really better than MLS, he couldn’t score 8 goals here in a couple seasons but down there in just 13 matches he has 8. One has to consider his recent form a loud calling card to Bob Bradley.
Buddle
I agree. He has the speed and the skills. Although Gomez is on fire right now. He should be invited to some of the few remaining friendlies.
Ching is not an impressive forward on the international stage. He should be left off (also his injury doesn’t help matters).
Ching off the bench
Was able to score in limited minutes against El Salvador, his size make him a great target forward on set pieces but he lacks the pace to be a solo threat.
Ching because I'm a homer
He needs to be paired with someone with some pace, but he provides an excellent target up front who is a better than advertised passer after he wins the ball. He’s not going to win many races, but he’s quicker than he gets credit for too. I think Casey and Ching are fighting for one spot as the “target” forward. Ching is the better option. Both are dangerous on set pieces, but Ching is much better with the ball after he wins it. Heard him on the radio yesterday and he’s hoping to be back on the field by May for the dynamo. Mild hamstring tear. I thought he was in a good position to make the squad, but that really hurts his chances.
I’m intrigued by both Buddle and Gomez, but I haven’t seen enough of either yet to have an opinion. I think the fact that Buddle and Donovan already have chemistry together gives Buddle a little edge.
I like Findley as well, but I think he’s going to have to really impress Bradley over the next couple of months.
