Throwing out the baby with the bath water- if not Bob Bradley, then who
So the interweb thingy is all a buzz today with Bob Bradley retiring from the USMNT, going to Aston Villa, and various other versions.
I don't count myself a Bradley fan or a hater, I think he did a good job of getting the US to win the Gold Cup, come in second at the Confederations Cup, and make it to the round of 16 at the World Cup. I know that many people want him to go, it seems like around the world most national teams dismiss their coaches every 4-8 years, but I am left with one huge question.
If not Bob, then who?
I know some of you are going to think that we are going to sign Jürgen Klinsmann, but if he turned US Soccer down the last time, what makes you think he would take it this time?
So then who? Come on if you want Bob to be gone, then you need to offer up some real name of people who have a better resume than he does in the last 4 years. No pipe dreams of coaches who wouldn't give the US a second look, none of the coaches that want to run the whole show, we know that Sunil Gulati, isn't going to give up any power or control.
So pipe in with some names, come one.

I like Bob Bradley
I say resign him to another 4 years and see what he can come up with during the next World Cup in Brazil.
Also, looks like he is out of the running for the Aston Villa job according to this report:

Great
So we want the guy that took a former finalist to meltdown stage in just 4 years. I am hoping you are joking, we want to ditch the guy who is the first to win CONCACAF in generations, got the US to the final of the Confederations Cup, Won the Gold Cup, and got us to the round of 16 for the coach who had half his team walk out on him in the World Cup.
Like I said, we should really be careful of getting rid of Bradley too soon. Yes he made some mistakes, but he is learning and I think the results so far have been quality.
Joking
calm down
your OP makes a good point… a lot of big names I would want like Guus Hidink and Giovanni Trappatoni are unavailable.

OK, I just never know with some of you
when you are joking and when you are being serious, and given the push by some to go with a non-US based coach. I had to be sure.
