Ha!

Los Angeles wants to make the Home Depot Center and “fortress”. Too bad we already own that title. Best home-field advantage in MLS!

Just thought I’d put that out there. Haha.

True

But RSL has 4 home matches left, while LA has 6 of their last 7 at home (nothing like a little pull with the MLS scheduling folks), so they are they are predicting good things for them at home. Considering that they are 6-1-2 at home with a +10 goal differential, they may be the second best team at home in MLS this year.

They do have a couple matches that could bite them if they aren’t careful as they have to face Columbus, New York, and FC Dallas all at home still this year, two of those teams will also be making trips to Rio Tinto, and with today’s news that Saborio and Johnson won’t be available on the 4th against New York, RSL will need special efforts from others.

Agreed

With only four matches left at home, there could be some wear and tear from traveling. Especially with the CCL in the middle of all of it.

I think New York will be another nail biter – like the one against LA. But even then, when LA was on fire, we still pulled out that win at home. I think we will win against New York, but it will be another LA game. And with Saborio and Johnson gone, we’ll have to dig into our bench – which is deep. We just need to be careful. New York did snap Toronto’s home streak. Our’s will be on the line, but we will win.
