MLS Cup Road Trip 2011 - Stop Number 1 Vegas Baby

Photo

Well the first leg of the journey to MLS Cup is over as we stop in Las Vegas for the night, the good part of this stop is that I can bring you the latest from Vegas in regards to the match, yes that means the odds and at the MGM there are a couple of interesting wagers you can make.  First up is which player will score the first goal, here are the odds:

Robbie Keane 3/1
Landon Donovan 3/1
Chad Barrett 5/1
Jovan Kirovski 7/1
David Beckham 7/1
Mike Magee 7/1
Adam Cristman 8/1
Carlos Costly 8/1
Brian Ching 10/1
Cameron Weaver 10/1
No Goal Scored 7/1
Field Even

more odds after the jump:

Star-divide

So at the MGM they are also offering a first half wager:

Houston Dynamo +250
Los Angeles Galaxy -130
Draw -120

You can also bet on the full match (which in Vegas is the result after the first 90 minutes plus stoppage time):

Houston Dynamo +400
Los Angeles Galaxy -160
Draw +220

So the odds are a bit better at TI (Treasure Island) where Houston was +450.

Clearly if you look at the odds you can tell that the huge favorite to win the match is LA, but sometimes a bet on a long shot like Houston in soccer isn't a bad thing at all and before I leave town in the morning that is where my money is going.

Well time for a nap so we can head to LA early in the morning.
