Three games tonight to start off the week.  Have to love it when the season gets in full swing.  A more in depth recap of last week and the upcoming matches will be forthcoming but for now on to Wednesday's fixtures.

They are hiding after the jump.

Wednesday May 11th

Philadelphia Union vs LA Galaxy - The union fell in Portland last Friday, but still managed to hold to their scoreline of 1-0.  There might be a pattern here.  The problem they face in every game (even the ones they have won) is that they cannot produce goals.  Their defense has been great overall having only allowed 3 goals all year so far, but when you can only put 5 in during that same period of time you have to be wondering what is going on.  The Galaxy come in after an exciting game on Saturday against New York, a game which lived up to it's billing.  They looked great through the midfield and their ability to push the ball forward really came together.  For Philly it's going to be a tough weeks worth of games as they fall again 0-1.

FC Dallas vs Toronto FC - Dallas is finding it's own woes after losing David Ferreira in not being able to take advantage of those opportunities that last year's MVP could see and create.  Toronto on the other hand put down the red hot Dynamo on Saturday, but their advantage there was being home.  They have since traveled a great distance and also have another game this coming Saturday.  Fatigue will be the bigger kicker here as the crowd in Dallas is anemic at best.  1-0 Dallas.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs San Jose Earthquakes -  San Jose has fallen far in the recent weeks.  They need a lift of some sort but it's hard to pinpoint a single thing that could use it.  I say that because the entire team is faltering and some are questioning what has caused such a poor performance across the board.  Vancouver isn't doing much better though.  They have gone from being able to score handily (at least at home) to struggling in every game.  They need to pick it up and give their fans something to cheer about up at Empire field.  0-0 draw that could either be a great resurgence by both teams or a match which was better off not played.
