Our offense was absolute crap tonight. It might’ve been a result of solid RSL defending, but we stunk. Possession without punch.

Soft fouls against us. Overt shoves from behind on Montero all night that went uncalled, didn’t add enough time back at the end.

He wasn’t as bad as some MLS refs, and more consistent than most, but not consistent enough and allowed too much physical play. As soon as 15 minutes were gone and I could see what kind of game he was allowing, it became clear that there wouldn’t be much scoring. I hoped we’d score, but once they did the game he was allowing played right into the borderline crap that RSL loves to play.

I was especially miffed when he blew for full time while the ball was at the feet of a Sounder at the top of the box

Seriously, that’s where you blow it dead? Granted, they did play through and nothing earth-shattering happened, but come on!

How the mighty have fallen. It feels so good to read their hate and whinny cries. The exact same things they accuse us of doing, are the same things they do. Making excuses, blaming the ref, explaining away results. Haha
