Taking out an opposing goalkeeper should be worth a heftier sanction. It makes sense within the existing rules. Well, to everybody but the committee MLS picked to make these kinds of decisions. For MLS, they needed to do a little more than simply treat this as case closed with a silly ruling on a stupid event. Henry made a choice that ended up severely impacting another club. It doesn't matter if that club happens to be on a home and away unbeaten streak and has a shot at the Western Conference title. It also shouldn't matter who's next on the schedule.
