Special Presale for MLS Cup 2010 Tickets Begins Today
Visa Cardholders Have Access to Exclusive Presale;
Toronto's BMO Field to host 15th MLS Championship Game on Sunday, Nov. 21
NEW YORK - (October 19, 2010) Major League Soccer has announced that tickets for MLS Cup 2010 will go on sale for a special one week presale for Visa cardholders beginning today, Oct. 19 at 1:00 p.m. ET. This will be the first chance for fans to purchase tickets to Major League Soccer's championship game, MLS Cup. The exclusive presale will run from Oct. 19 at 1:00 p.m. ET to Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Fans may use their Visa card to purchase tickets during the exclusive presale only available online at www.ticketmaster.ca/
The 15th MLS championship game, MLS Cup 2010, will be played on Sunday, Nov. 21 at 8:30 p.m. ET at BMO Field in Toronto. This is the eighth venue to hold the prestigious event and will mark the first time MLS Cup has been held outside of the United States. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN and TeleFutura.
The previous 14 MLS Cups have attracted nearly 520,000 fans (an average of 37,123 per game) to see MLS' season-ending championship. Last year's game was held at Qwest Field in Seattle, WA., home of Seattle Sounders FC and drew a sellout crowd of 46,011 to watch Real Salt Lake defeat the LA Galaxy 1-1 (5-4 in penalty kicks).
Ticket prices range from $56 to $120.

MLS Cup 2010 is the 15th annual championship game of Major League Soccer and will match the league's Eastern and Western Conference Champions in a single match finale. The two contending teams will be determined on the weekend of November 13-14.
