This is something that RSL GM Garth Lagerwey hinted was a real possibility to happen, but I wonder with a young leftsided GA back in Michael Tetteh left on the board was the $$ amount offered by Chivas too much to pass up? I don't know but this is clearly a move to get some cap room to finish up the deals with Nat Borchers and Nick Rimando.
Listen there are no glaring holes on the RSL roster and this proved it.
