Well I thought RSL might look for a bargain to restock at outside back or get some depth for the now thin midfield, but instead RSL passed on the players that were available in the re-entry draft today. Perhaps the two most interesting things were Seattle trading (not sure what) to get the top spot in the draft from Vancouver, then drafting Marc Burch from DC United, and then the multiple choices by the LA Galaxy including two of their own players that had been on the list. Here is the complete list of players taken in today's 2nd phase of the MLS re-entry draft:

LA also took Dasan Robinson and Frankie Hejduk, which is a smart move by them as "Players who remain unselected after Stage 2 will be available to any MLS club on a first come, first serve basis".
All in all the re-entry process is still a very far way from Free Agency but it does allow players more freedom than they had in the past.
