Real Salt Lake at Portland Timbers - Match Thread

Real Salt Lake will look to rebound tonight in Portland and they will go with a mix of guys who played in the 1-0 Champions League loss on Wednesday night.

Real Salt Lake: Nick Rimando, Chris Wingert, Chris Schuler, Nat Borchers, Tony Beltran, Jean Alexandre, Kyle Beckerman, Javier Morales, Collen Warner, Alvaro Saborio, Arturo Alvarez

Bench:  Kyle Reynish, Rauwshan McKenzie, Nelson Gonzalez, Paulo Jr., Will Johnson, Ned Grabavoy, Andy Williams

Portland Timbers:  Troy Perkins, Rodney Wallace, Eric Brunner, Mamadou Danso, Jeremy Hall, Kalif Alhassan, Diego Chara, Jack Jewsbury, Darlington Nagbe, Jorge Perlaza, Kenny Cooper

Bench: Jake Gleeson, Kevin Goldthwaite, Steve Purdy, James Marcelin, Adam Moffat, Sal Zizzo, Ryan Pore

I expect this will be an entertaining match as both sides will be looking to rebound after losses within the last 7 days, RSL is putting out a lineup that should be able to do well against the Timbers, if every has their heads in the game.  I think the selection of Alvaro Saborio is about getting his confidence and touch back, and with the service from Alvarez, it should be a night where Sabo can get a goal or two.

I will be doing some live matchup updates from the Republican tonight, so if you are online check it out and if you want to add your thoughts or comments do so via the comments section.
