Real Salt Lake vs. New England Revolution - Quick Preview

Well it would be easy to think that RSL will "phone it in", I mean they just made some more history in Champions League, but that simply isn't their style.  Oh yes I think you will see a couple starters get some rest, I mean two matches on turf in a week isn't something that guys like Olave or rather his knees like.  So I expect that Jamison Olave will be replaced by Chris Schuler, Andy Willams may be replaced with Ned Grabavoy, and maybe even Will Johnson and Nick Rimando getting a night off with, Arturo Alvarez, Collen Warner and Kyle Reynish getting a start?

OK, I am not up to a full match preview today, so I am going to get to the meat of it.  RSL is at real risk against a scrappy team that fought back to get a result midweek at Vancouver.  For RSL they are clearly the better team at every position, the only player on the Rev's roster that I would want on our team is Shalrie Joseph and the question is where would you play him.  Yes RSL is that good, but coming off a big match in Costa Rica, it could cause a lack of focus but I doubt that would last more than a couple minutes.  I do think we will see a couple starter for RSL rested, but the reality is that the quality of RSL should be able to overcome the home field advantage that the Revolution have, and in the end I see a 2-0 win for RSL.

Should be entertaining, and it will be on the network.  Yes this match is on KUTV Channel 2, so no excuses to not watch it.  So tune in at 5:30pm MT tonight to see what all the talk is about.
