Kyle Beckerman, midfield general and fly fisherman, on MLS 36

These nice television features NBC Sports is airing are pretty great — we've seen Darlington Nagbe, Fredy Montero, Chris Wondolowski and more — but this MLS 36 featuring Kyle Beckerman, airing on NBC Sports on Oct. 6, takes the cake.

Some particular highlights:

• Kyle Beckerman, the fly-fisher, out the day before a match — relaxing and catching, well, nothing of note. I think he catches a branch.
• Locker room talks with Jason Kreis. It's not every day you get to see one of these.
• A man with a great beard hoisting a scarf.
• On-pitch banter. With a loud crowd, you surely can't hear these guys normally.
• Kyle Beckerman's U.S. national team vitamin mix, which he apparently does not like very much but takes regardless. It's surely better than cardboard-like mush, right? Somebody get Jurgen on that.
• A towel-laden Alvaro Saborio looking embarrassed and wandering off frame.

Right, the video was fun while it lasted. I suppose you'll have to wait until it's aired on NBC Sports if you've not seen it already.
