With a much-altered lineup, Real Salt Lake drew a second consecutive MLS match to complete the regular season.

Kyle Reynish, in for a rested Nick Rimando, and Kwame Watson-Siriboe and Chris Wingert, deployed in the center with both Borchers and Schuler out, avoided conceding a goal. With the goalless draw, RSL conceded only its third goal in nine matches through all competitions.

With Alvaro Saborio back in the lineup, the forward line - the Costa Rican paired with Fabian Espindola - couldn't get past Vancouver's ranks.

A changed midfield saw Kyle Beckerman, Jonny Steele, Ned Grabavoy and Luis Gil struggling to create frequent chances throughout. Grabavoy and Gil were both substituted in the second half, with Sebastian Velasquez appearing and making an excellent impression, and David Viana making his home debut for RSL.

The draw leaves RSL unlikely to host the MLS Cup final should they make it that far, ahead of only Eastern Conference sides Chicago Fire and Houston Dynamo.
