Eric Wynalda has been searching for a club to coach for some time, with his name popping up around various coaching openings. His temperament might be a difficult sell, but after having led amateur Cal FC to some minor US Open Cup success, his coaching does add some interest.
Robin Fraser, at last report, was an assistant coach with New York Red Bulls, but he also has a head coach position under his belt, having been at the rather disastrous Chivas USA before that.
Jeff Cassar joined Real Salt Lake as a coach when Jason Kreis retired as a player to take up the coaching position, and he has been coaching the RSL reserves for some time.
In related news, RSL coach C.J. Brown looks set to leave Real Salt Lake to join Frank Yallops' coaching staff at Chicago Fire, where he played for the entirety of his MLS career.
