Nick Rimando wins Save of the Year — again

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Spor

Nick Rimando won MLS 2013 Save of the Year for the second year running, with this year's entry coming for a spectacular double save that saw Real Salt Lake's goalkeeper, on the ground, claw the ball off the line against Colorado Rapids.

Rimando won with roughly 30 percent of the vote, beating saves by Donovan Ricketts (MLS Best XI goalkeeper), Jaime Penedo, and Raul Fernandez.

Last year's effort came against Sporting Kansas City, with Rimando stretching to stop a point-blank header.
