Real Salt Lake's extended search for a striker is coming to an end: Olmes Garcia, a Colombian striker who played for Deportes Quindio in 2012, is set to join pending a physical examination and a contract signature, RSL communications confirmed.

A photo posted earlier this evening pictured Garcia as the mysterious "Striker X" set to sign very shortly, as per a club release on Twitter today. Garcia wore #24 in 2012 at Deportes Quindio.
Garcia, 20, looks to have scored at least five goals in 20 matches for Quindio in 2012.
Judging from sparse footage on YouTube (a dangerous game if there ever was one), Garcia is exactly what Lagerwey and Kreis have been promising: fast, strong and young.
In this highlight footage below, Garcia scores a goal for Quindio against Millonaros in Liga Postobon I action. Relevant footage comes around the one-minute mark in the video.
Garcia also scores the first goal in this highlight footage, from a 2012 match against Real Cartagena.
Finally, Garcia assists on the first goal in this footage.
It is unlikely that Garcia will feature in tomorrow's Desert Diamond Cup match, but should he be deemed fit, seeing him in one of the two remaining is not entirely unlikely
