Stats and notes

New England Revolution might be this season's nil-nillers, having already clocked up three of them. Real Salt Lake will be looking to string together two wins for the first time in 2013.

RSL academy product Carlos Salcedo gets the start tonight. It's his first after making his first-team debut on Saturday. He's young, but my word, he's good. Young, good center backs are rare, and he's certainly among those.

Two RSL players have been sent on loan recently, meaning it's getting close to that dreaded time of the year when injuries rack up and the reserves season dips. Yuck. But best of luck to Enzo Martinez and Jeff Attinella in NASL.

Joao Plata leads the league in assists alongside Mr. Graham Zusi.

Juan Agudelo won't play for the Revolution tonight, which isn't too surprising, as he'd just been traded yesterday from Chivas USA for ... you guessed it ... allocation money. Young striker Diego Fagundez — and by young, I mean 18 and still high-school aged — starts.
