Josh Saunders - 7 Seemed more calm than usual and made the saves when needed, albeit simple ones.
Chris Wingert - 7.5 Had a goal that I don't think even he expected to go in. But with the help of the Railhawks keeper who looked like he was about 15 years old, he got one. Besides the goal, his passing seemed off a bit, but overall Wingert had a good game.
Nat Borchers - 7 Looked dominant against Carolina's attack frankly. They didn't pose much of a threat and Borchers is to be recognized.
Carlos Salcedo - 7 The Railhawks weren't very threatening, but Salcedo showed up and played well. I know people think that since Carolina wasn't that good that it doesn't prove much for Salcedo, but Maund got his chance against a lower division team and that didn't work out so well. With every passing game, Salcedo is becoming more confident.
Tony Beltran - 9 Man of the match, king of the RIoT. Beltran had a great game and had a beautiful goal from distance. Looked like he got a monkey off his back with that one and then he wanted more. I love to see Beltran with some swagger. He didn't let Carolina have anything up the side either.
Kyle Beckerman - 6.5 Beckerman didn't have a repeat performance from his last game, but he wasn't taking too many steps back either.
Ned Grabavoy - 6 Seemed pretty frustrated at times, both with himself and with his teammates. That could be because he is hungry for another goal, so I can't really complain much.
Javier Morales - 6.5 I expect passing brilliance from Morales every time. His shot was off the mark against the Railhawks and that's okay as long as he saves that tenacity and vision for the Timbers game.
Khari Stephenson - 6.5 Stephenson made some great moves on the defenders but then seemed to lose the ball after all that energy. However, he did do well winning balls and seems more at home now that we are half way through the season.
Alvaro Saborio - 7.5 That was an amazing goal, was it not? A quality header in fast motion. Sabo probably deserved at least one more goal and very well could have had it if he was a bit sharper. Costa Rica is getting greedy with him now. They need to let RSL have a turn for a while.
Robbie Findley - 6 Made the right decisions to pass and created dangerous chances, but I contend that he does need to be a bit more selfish at times.
Substitutes
Joao Plata - 6 If Plata was a better finisher he would be a very dangerous forward. But the stats show otherwise - he doesn't have many goals for how many shots he takes. His strength is in his vision and creativity though, and it is visible when he comes on.
Olmes Garcia - 7.5 Garcia put a goal on a platter for Saborio and was able to chase down a ball that seemed to be impossible to reach. We knew he was fast and that he can create a lot of scoring chances out of the blue, but we found out tonight that he is able to dish out some dimes. What else can he do?
Yordany Alvarez - 6 Pretty good showing for Alvarez, but he needs to get more time to really get in any sort of flow.
