RSL trio plays 90 minutes in 4-1 USA win over Cuba at Rio Tinto

Nick Rimando, Tony Beltran, and Kyle Beckerman played at their home ground for the United States in a 4-1 win over Cuba today.

The match marked Beltran's first competitive international appearance, having previously appeared in a 0-0 friendly against Canada for the U.S. Having only been initially called up to the national team for Klinsmann's January camp. Beltran's performance was strong and assured,

Kyle Beckerman grabbed an assist with a fantastic cross for Chris Wondolowski's first goal of the day, which put the U.S. up 3-1 and sealed the result. Beckerman had a generally strong night, completing 96 of 105 passes and controlling the midfield without issue.

Nick Rimando was forced into having a couple good moments, and can't really be faulted for the goal Cuba scored, which caught the U.S. defense during transition.
