Nick Rimando - 6.5 Rimando made some key saves but you can't argue that he did pick four balls out of his net. In fairness, I don't know that any of the goals were all on him.
Tony Beltran - 7.5 Beltran was one of the brighter spots on the night with solid defending and great control over the ball. He was one of the defenders that didn't look outmatched.
Nat Borchers - 6.5 Borchers, much like Salcedo, just looked like the Galaxy attack was too much for him. Borchers, unlike Salcedo, was at least in decent position. He looked like he was getting bossed around by Omar Gonzalez. On the upside, he was credited with two assists on the night.
Carlos Salcedo - 4.5 Salcedo got caught with his pants down multiple times trying to defend Robbie Keane. Hopefully this was a learning experience for the young center back and not a confidence killer. Partially, he was a victim of the Galaxy's best game of the year so far, but still, he has to do better.
Chris Wingert - 6.5 Wingert made a tackle or two that prevented some clear scoring opportunities for L.A. He also put himself in the right spots to be able to thwart other chances. All in all, not a bad night for Wingert.
Kyle Beckerman - 7 I'm not sure whether to be upset or sympathetic with Beckerman's yellow. He will now miss the next game, even though a rest is much needed for Beckerman who has put in an incredible amount of playing time this season. As for his play on the field, he did well to create chances for his teammates but didn't do as well intercepting passes as usual.
Javier Morales - 6.5 Javi's passing wasn't on point as it usually is. In fairness, not too many RSL players were as sharp as they normally are. His assist was nice, but it occurred at a point when it was too late to matter much.
Ned Grabavoy - 8 Another bright spot on the night, Ned had a beautiful assist to Plata that led to the first RSL goal. Grabavoy looked unafraid and unphased by the Galaxy onslaught.
Luis Gil - 6.5 Gill continued his streak of lacking on the offensive thrust more than I would prefer, although he did do more to assert himself this game than in the past few. Not a bad night by any means, just not what I know he is capable of.
Joao Plata - 7.5 Much needed goal for Plata. My only argument would be that he probably could have done much better with some of the other opportunities that he had.
Alvaro Saborio - 6 I didn't see much out of Saborio on the night that showed me that he should receive a higher rating than what I am giving him. He had a decent shot or two, but nothing that truly had a chance of going in. Much like Beckerman, Sabo needs a rest too.
Substitutes
Robbie Findley - 7 Nice consolation goal at the end that makes it look like RSL didn't get absolutely dominated throughout. For some reason, 4-2 makes me feel a little bit better than 4-1. It wasn't an easy goal to finish either. Findley did alright with the limited time that he had. Looked like he was brought on along with Garcia to test the speed of the Galaxy back line towards the end of the game.
Olmes Garcia- 6 Another night in which Garcia didn't look to have as much of an effect as I would expect based on his earlier efforts.
Abdoulie Mansally - 5.5 Usually with the limited amount of minutes that a late substitution gets it is hard to give a score. Mansally did a good job of making himself known in the few minutes he received and looked to insert some energy into the club.
