Daniel Jackson, a forward from Coker College, is Real Salt Lake's fourth-round pick in the draft. Jackson attended Coker College in South Carolina in 2012 and 2013, a transfer from Cumberland University in Tennessee.
During 2013, he was goalscoring machine at home for Coker, netting 12 times in nine home matches. Jackson was also a member of DC United's Under-23 academy side, which participated in the NPSL.
RSL acquired the 13th pick in the fourth round in exchange for the rights to Mario Martinez to Seattle Sounders in 2012. Their natural fourth round pick was sent to Chicago Fire in exchange for Kwame Watson-Siriboe.
It seems a long shot for Jackson to make the squad, but stranger things have certainly happened.
