Player ratings versus Chivas USA

Sabo and Beckerman each notched goals and gave RSL a win in the last regular season of 2014.

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Rimando - 6 Rimando had a pretty action-free night with not too many chances from Chivas.

Tony Beltran - 7.5 Beltran did a lot to get a clean sheet for RSL. He looked clean on the ball and did well for himself and the club.

Nat Borchers - 7.5 It looks almost impossible to score on Borchers at the moment. He is looking like he is in Playoff form and ready for the tournament to begin

Carlos Salcedo - 7 Salcedo is proving with every opportunity he gets that he is going to have a nice career. The sky is the ceiling for this kid.

Chris Wingert - 4.5 Wingert had some errant passes that made you scratch your head. His veteran savvy will allow him to move on quickly.

Kyle Beckerman - 8 Mr. Beckerman played selflessly, broke up plays, won the ball back, and got a long-awaited goal post World Cup. Nice game from the captain.

Javier Morales - 5.5 Morales' passes were a bit heavy on the night. I'm not worried though. He will bounce back and be ready for Playoff competition.

Luke Mulholland - 6 Mulholland was involved in the attack but left us wanting more with a missed opportunity with his header early on.

Ned Grabavoy - 6.5 Grabavoy had a nice "Hand of God" moment, but more importantly he put in the dirty work which is his modus operandi.

Alvaro Saborio - 7.5 Sabo held up the ball like a champ and was awarded a PK which he did well to fake right and go left.

Joao Plata - 7 Plata was unlucky not to score with a couple of shots. He had a chance very early in the match that he could have scored on if he put it lower, but he did give Beckerman a ball on a silver platter to allow him to score.

Substitutes

Luis Gil - 5.5 Another night in which Gil did not get the minutes he would like to get. He could not quite assert himself into the match.
