Wk 32 Power Ranking Averages - only 3 changes

The penultimate Power Ranking Avg. edition has only 3 position changes on the weekly list, and 3 on the season list. New York drops furthest.

Season Average Power Ranking
Three changes on the table for Week 32.  Los Angeles reaches it's final position at 3th after passing Kansas City.  The second and third changes are New York and New England exchanging places.  Since the points between NY, CLB and NER remain close that may change again in the final week.  The top 8 and bottom 12 is set as no teams can make up the point difference with one game remaining.

  • In the weekly averages 7 teams have been ranked 1st (Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New England, Salt Lake, Seattle, Kansas City), and 5 teams have placed last (Chivas, Colorado, D.C., Houston, Montreal).
  • In the season averages 2 teams have been ranked 1st (Salt Lake, Seattle), and 2 teams last (D.C., Montreal).
  • Houston has the distinction of being the only team to be ranked both first and last in the weekly rankings, with New England close behind with first and 2nd to last.  D.C. has risen from last to a high of 2nd.
  • D.C. has moved the most on the season rankings, rising 13 positions since Wk 5.
  • Four teams have not placed higher weekly than 10th (Chicago, Chivas, Montreal, San Jose).
  • Two teams have not placed lower weekly than 9th (Salt Lake, Seattle).
