Real Salt Lake has passed in the done-in-secret-then-publicized-but-also-leaked 2014 Dispersal Draft, which probably isn't too surprising.
The draft, which wasn't supposed to be live-tweeted by some MLS mandate but was anyway for a short time, was for the distribution of now-dissolved Chivas USA's players to the 20 remaining MLS teams.
Former Real Salt Lake homegrown player Donny Toia was selected by Montreal Impact with the sixth pick in the draft.
Goalkeeper Dan Kennedy, perhaps the standout player at Chivas USA, was picked first in the draft by FC Dallas.
Former Chivas USA players can be selected in the re-entry and waiver drafts, but it's hard to see Real Salt Lake picking any of the remaining players available. Still, one never knows with MLS.
