Season ticket packages have been announced for Real Monarchs starting at $112, with game-day tickets available at $8 a piece for RSL season-ticket holders. Tickets are available only on the covered west side of the stadium.
The Ford Zone (sections 13, 14) and the family section (sections 24, 25) are the cheapest, with a $112 season ticket package -- which puts the cost at $8 a game with the anticipated 14 home matches.
The second-most affordable Sections 15 and 23, as well as ADA field pricing, sit at $150. Sections 16, 17, 21, and 22 are $190; sections 18 and 20 are $290; and section 19 is $490.
Monarchs president Rob Zarkos described packages are being planned with families in mind, with four, six, and eight ticket single-match packages available starting at $48, $75 and $98, respectively. Those packages will include some sort of concessions, he said.
That pricing sets a focus on market segments that have found increased ticket prices makes attending a match as a family difficult.
"For under $50, going to a professional sporting event with your family - and I love it because we're coming to Rio Tinto Stadium, we're coming to the Church, right? This is where everybody wants to come," he said. " Those edges of the market that have been forced to fall off, we can really scoop up and come and enjoy Real and be part of the Real family."
Zarkos said on a business level, the Monarchs will be operated independently from Real Salt Lake.
"I think it makes sense. We talk about synergies, but we can also talk about overload," he said. "I think trying to run two pure teams out of the same organization would just get difficult after a while."
