Things are looking up: Rimando, Morales, Schuler all listed as "probable"

New, comments

We can breathe a little easier today.

Nick Rimando, Javier Morales, and the elusive Chris Schuler have all been listed as "probable" in this week's injury report for tomorrow's home opener against LA Galaxy.

Rimando suffered from back spasms in last weekend's match against San Jose Earthquakes, but has been training this week. Morales was suffering from a back injury as well, but he, too, has been in training.

Chris Schuler has been in training but he would seem the least likely of the three to play as he searches for 90 minutes of fitness — something Rimando and Morales haven't had as much worry about given that they were able to fully participate in preseason. Though going without Schuler from the outset might not help our chances, they do help the chances that we can have the dominant center back playing for the rest of the season.

Sebastian Velasquez is out with an aggravation of his existing hamstring strain, while Jordan Allen is out for this one after suffering a poor tackle in the San Jose match last weekend. Aaron Maund remains questionable with a hamstring strain he suffered in the buildup to San Jose's comeback, and Kwame Watson-Siriboe looks to have been upgraded to questionable with an unspecified knee concern.

Devon Sandoval and Robbie Findley both remain out.
