Rimando, Beltran out for SKC match after midweek injuries

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Rimando and Tony Beltran have both been left out against Sporting Kansas City today in a somewhat surprising move by Jeff Cassar.

Rimando is reportedly dealing with a knee concern following Wednesday's national team appearance, while Tony Beltran is out with an ankle sprain.

Rich Balchan will start his first match for the club, having made his first appearance last week. Chris Wingert remains out, so Abdoulie Mansally starts on the left.

Jeff Attinella gets his first start of the season in Rimando's stead.

We here at RSL Soapbox (me, mostly) apologize for the poor predictions earlier in the day. Those responsible have been sacked. (Not really.)
