Justen Glad, our newest signing, is away with the United States under-18 national team, but that didn't stop him from giving his first interview as a Real Salt Lake player.
Glad won't be with RSL on a full-time basis until this summer, saying that he needs to finish his junior year of high school. He also says he'll be involved with the academy playoffs, which take place from June 23 to June 27.
He'll be involved in reserves games until that point, but there is basically no chance he'll see first team minutes until well after July, as he won't be in full training until then.
As expected, Real Salt Lake's third-round draft pick, Joey Dillon, was released following the signing of Glad.
