Real Salt Lake midfielder Jordan Allen will miss the remainder of the season, according to a report from Salt Lake Tribune reporter Chris Kamrani.
Breaking: #RSL's Jordan Allen will miss the rest of the 2014 season due to season-ending knee surgery. Surgery slated for Thursday.

It's a blow for the 18-year-old midfielder, who spent time this season with the U.S. Under-20 team and made the pitch in the first match of his professional career.
Allen suffered the injury while on international duty with the U-20s at the Dallas Cup, which will come as a disappointment for the promising player.
According to RSL communications, Allen will be placed on the season-ending injury list.
Being placed on that list does open a position on the roster, but the salary budget remains — leaving RSL with little to no room to maneuver toward picking up a player to fill Allen's roster position.
