Jeff Attinella is once again up for save of the week, which, really, is nice.
It's nice to know that we have a goalkeeper capable of fantastic, last-ditch saves. It's nice that he's getting recognition. Still, there's something a little discouraging about that.
That Attinella has been called into action so frequently is a little less encouraging. We've allowed a multitude of shots for him to get behind -- nine on target against Portland, for one -- and so he still makes quite a few saves despite our generally conceding goals.
At any rate, it's still something to celebrate. Let's not look a gift horse in the mouth, lest it bite us like horses are prone to do, what with their sharp, pointy teeth and all.
Attinella won in weeks 11 and 13; Rimando won in weeks one and two.
