Paul Dalglish, Real Salt Lake's forward coach, has left Real Salt Lake to re-join Austin Aztex, now entering USL Pro, according to a club-issued press release.
Dalglish previously coached Austin Aztex when they were a USL PDL team, being named PDL coach of the year in 2013. He left them in January to join Jeff Cassar's setup.
This leaves RSL without a forward-focused coach; the club-issued press release said a new assistant could be named by the week's end.
It's difficult to fault Dalglish for re-joining the promoted Aztex, and indeed, RSL general manager Garth Lagerwey said as much in the press release.
Here's hoping to a quick-but-sane hire.
