Real Monarchs: USL Pro name revealed at Fairpark meeting

It's not the best name, but it's a name: Real Monarchs will apparently be the name of Real Salt Lake's USL Pro team, according to reliable Salt Lake Tribune reporter Chris Kamrani, who is attending the Utah State Fairpark meeting.

At the Utah State Fairpark meeting watching #RSL owner Dell Loy Hansen. The USL Pro club team will be named the Real Monarchs.

Real Monarchs — RM, I guess we'll be calling them — should be playing at the Fairpark  in 2016, but stick around for the latest on these developments.

It's not yet clear whether it's a reference to the monarch butterfly or monarchs as a concept of royalty.
