Player ratings against Colorado: RSL's attack as good as they've been all season

The RSL attacking corps looked as good as they have all season and the scoreline showed it.

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Rimando - 6.5 Rimando made a couple of nice saves to preserve the blowout lead, but overall it was a pretty quiet night for the best keeper in MLS. THe one goal that got past him was a pretty fantastic curling shot from distance that was the result of a poor giveaway.

Chris Wingert - 6 Wingert had a decent night but the one goal that RSL conceded was the result of a soft giveaway from him. On the plus side, Wingert was a big part of some of the RSL build up throughout the night.

Chris Schuler - 7.5 Schuler was on lock down for the 45 minutes that he played. He also got a nice goal with his work rate and being in the right place. I've said it for a while now, but Schuler is as key of a player for RSL as is any other on their roster.

Carlos Salcedo - 7.5 Salcedo slotted in nicely for the absent Nat Borchers. He has looked very confident sine his call-ups to Mexico. He also got his first MLS goal showing a lot of poise.

Tony Beltran - 7 Beltran was fantastic in possession and in recovery. I suspect Klinsmann will take another look at him before long.

Kyle Beckerman - 7 Beckerman had some incredible passes in tough situations and was there to break up plays. I think he does that sometimes.

Ned Grabavoy - 7.5 Grabavoy's assist on Plata's goal was a thing of beauty and we have seen that back pass from Grabavoy a few times in the past. I always like to see him get on the stat sheet as he deserves it more often.

Luke Mulholland - 7 Mulholland's creativity is a real asset to Real Salt Lake. He is good with the ball and has a nose for where to put the ball at critical times.

Javier Morales - 8.5 Morales got an olimpico goal (even though it was announced as Jaime's) and what a goal it was. There are only a few players in the league that have the skill and smarts to do that and Morales is one of them. It seems as though he is getting better the longer he plays.

Sebastian Jaime - 7.5 Jaime looked dangerous. Very dangerous. More than anything, I was impressed with his touch. This guy is clearly a skilled player and we will see him do great things for Real Salt Lake going forward. He was unlucky to not have a goal with that performance.

Joao Plata - 8.5 Plata keeps scoring and creating. That's what he does. He has been the MVP for RSL this year without a doubt. He very well could have had a couple more goals, but the one he did have was placed perfectly in the top corner.

Substitutes

Aaron Maund - 6 Maund had a better shift in these 45 minutes that he has had the past couple times he was on the field. He looked confident and collected.

Robbie Findley - 6 Findley had a pretty quiet night, but fought hard to help RSL keep the ball and create chances. He took a couple knocks, but kept fighting. That
