After going on trial to Norwegian outfit Stabaek, Cole Grossman is set to join the club from Real Salt Lake, according to a video released by Bob Bradley today.
[Correction: A previous version of this article mistakenly stated that Grossman had gone on loan, not trial.]
The video series "Bob's Corner," which mades its debut today, features Bradley speaking directly to the audience, and he expresses his excitement about the signing of Grossman.
Grossman joined Stabaek on trial at the end of last year, and he clearly impressed enough to join the side on a more permanent basis. We're seeking confirmation of the move from Real Salt Lake, but confirmation from Bradley is strong.
"(Grossman) impressed everyone as a versatile, smart midfielder," Bradley said in the video. "We have already a signing, a player that I think our Stabaek fans will really enjoy watching through the year."
A tip of the hat to @papi4481 for pointing out the video today on Twitter.
Where exactly this leaves Real Salt Lake's midfield will hopefully become more clear in short order.
