Kyle Beckerman will make his return to the United States Men's National Team after a short absence for Wednesday's match against Mexico, where he'll be joined by first-choice goalkeeper battler and fellow RSL stalwart Nick Rimando.
Beckerman hasn't played with the national team since November 18, when he played in a 4-1 loss to Ireland (which, we'll note, wasn't his fault at all.)
He withdrew himself from consideration during USMNT duty during Jurgen Klinsmann's January camp, citing a need to remain with Real Salt Lake while the team underwent a considerable transition, both to a new formation and to a side without MLS veterans Nat Borchers, Chris Wingert and Ned Grabavoy, among others.
They'll be playing against Mexico, who will have former RSL defender Carlos Salcedo in the squad.
