Predict the Lineup: Real Salt Lake v. New England (with injury updates)

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

Real Salt Lake and New England face off on Saturday, and understandably, there will be a fair bit of intrigue when we're looking at who starts the match.

As we do every week, we want you to tell us who starts. We've got some tips for you, though, so don't worry if you don't remember everything.

  • Javier Morales might still be out of the running, as he's not fully integrated into training just yet.
  • Luis Gil should be available after a 90-minute performance with the U.S. U-23s, but that doesn't mean he'll be selected. (Although it must be said that he looked quite good for that side.)
  • Chris Schuler is definitively out. He and Joao Plata are probably on a similar timetable for return now.
  • Sebastian Jaime is an unknown, but he's able to train. He'll have to reportedly play through some pain.

Last week, an unexpected injury to Chris Schuler (4-6 weeks out now) meant that Elias Vasquez got the start — but as a result, none of you got the lineup 100 percent right. Although a handful of you had Vasquez starting, you either had Abdoulie Mansally or Jordan Allen starting, too, which rendered your selection sadly incorrect.

It's okay — we still like you a lot, and you can still put in your predictions today. So go ahead: Have at it. Prove your predictive powers. Exemplify ESP. Dein to decide. (Alright, we're done. Sorry.)
