USA vs. Germany 2015 international friendly: Time, TV schedule, live stream and more

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The United States and Germany square off today in an international friendly that feels more than a little lopsided — but as always in these matches, there's a potential upset on the cards.

The U.S. is coming off a huge 4-3 win over the Netherlands last week, while Germany, in the longer term, is presumably still coming off a 2014 FIFA World Cup win — that's not something you can easily dismiss. Both will affect the teams in different ways, with Germany's squad one that has a tinge of future aspirations to it, while the U.S. will be buzzing from a come-behind victory.

Still, that Germany squad is also very strong — underestimating World Cup winners like Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mesut Özil, Mario Götze and Sami Khedira would be foolhardy.

The U.S. squad features one or two changes from that last match, with goalkeeper Cody Cropper coming in for RSL's Nick Rimando, who returned for Real Salt Lake's 0-0 draw with Colorado Rapids.

Kyle Beckerman, Real Salt Lake captain, could be involved from the outset again, having played 90 minutes the last time these two nations faced each other. A standout from that World Cup match — and the subject of a great article about his fouling published at the time — there'd be plenty of motivation from him to see a better performance.
