Kyle Beckerman was a halftime sub for the United States against Germany, playing a solid 45 minutes in a spectacular late 2-1 win for the United States.

Things didn't start so smoothly, with Germany taking a 19th minute lead through Mario Gotze. But the Americans equalized before the first half ended through a fantastic goal from New York City's Mix Diskerud, who controlled a long pass from Michael Bradley with his chest, then finished with a spectacular shot.

The U.S. took the lead in the 88th minute when Bobby Wood scored from just outside the box following some good play from Jordan Morris in the attack.

From there, the U.S. defended with everything — but Germany, knocking on the door after that last goal, were left grasping.
