Real Salt Lake vs. Portland Timbers, US Open Cup: Live stream, lineup news and more

Jaime Valdez-USA TODAY Sports

Real Salt Lake continues their much-vaunted home run of US Open Cup games today with a match against a team they defeated in their 2013 run-up, Portland Timbers.

And while the lineup for RSL will certainly be a second-choice one, owing largely to international duty and injuries, it should still be as hot a matchup as one would expect — not least because of the 100-degree weather that's likely.

International duty

U.S.: Nick Rimando, Kyle Beckerman

Costa Rica: Alvaro Saborio

Defenders: Chris Schuler is not yet 90 minutes fit after returning from surgery. Justen Glad did not train fully yesterday. Jamison Olave is potentially out until September.

Midfield: No reported injuries.

Forwards: No reported injuries.

Real Salt Lake predicted lineup

Attinella; Beltran, Maund, Kavita, Phillips; Stertzer, Pecka, Morales; Jaime, Sandoval, Allen.
