USA vs. Cuba, Gold Cup 2015: TV and stream details

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The United States is playing in its first knock-out game of the 2015 Gold Cup today in a match against Cuba, one of the more surprising teams of the tournament.

After all, several players (as often happens) have defected from Cuba during the course of the tournament — four players, in fact. One player defected before the first match, two left during the group stage, and on Friday, Ariel Martinez, who played every group stage, "ran off into the darkness" from the team bus.

The 19 players remaining will have a tall task against the United States, who are hunting for another Gold Cup to hang on their proverbial hats.

Among those players hunting? Kyle Beckerman, who hasn't been a constant in the tournament, but did start the last match for the U.S. side. He's serving a more veteran, leadership role, which suits him very well.
