MLS All-Stars vs. Tottenham Hotspur: RSL players, TV and stream info, and more

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The MLS All-Star Game tonight, pitting Colorado Rapids against England's Tottenham Hotspur, kicks off tonight, and Real Salt Lake's two players there give us plenty of reason to be excited about watching.

MLS's best players—no, wait.

Some of MLS's best players, save some of the highest paid ones, will be there, too. That's all a little strange, but ... I guess it's not a big deal. It's a money grab, and if the MLS money grab isn't going to work properly, then I suppose we don't have to worry too much.

Anyway, there's still reason to watch for RSL fans.

Real Salt Lake players involved

Tony Beltran, right back extraordinaire, received his second call-up, and unlikely players paid many multiples of his salary, he's actually going to play, it seems. Look for him to continue building up the flank, but don't expect too much out of him when it comes to combining with attacking players. As much as he's been important for us in that regard, it's something he can do because he has an excellent understanding with someone like Javier Morales. He won't have that nearly as much.

Nick Rimando got his sixth nomination, and strangely, he's one of three goalkeepers on the MLS All-Star roster. Clint Irwin joined the team today. Still, expect to see Rimando for at least 45 minutes, and expect him to show us — once again — why he's the best goalkeeper in MLS.
