Real Salt Lake may be set for a slew of changes this offseason, but it looks like a few players have already agreed new or extended contracts with the club: Jordan Allen and Luke Mulholland.
RSL general manager Craig Waibel told reporters today that the club is also currently working with Justen Glad and Aaron Maund’s agents. Maund, Waibel told reporters, is out of contract.

Waibel says Aaron Maund is out-of-contract, but says negotiations with Maund's representations remain ongoing and in a positive direction.

While we can’t be certain about the state of other contracts — MLS is notoriously quiet about those sorts of things — it’s reassuring to know that negotiations are well underway.
Maund being out-of-contract is perhaps a worrying aspect of this whole thing, but that it’s moving in a “positive direction” is encouraging. He and Glad formed a good partnership at center back in 2016 that was disrupted only because of a foot issue Maund suffered late in the season.
In 2016, Maund played and started in 20 games; Glad started in 27 and played in 28.
