Real Salt Lake has three players available for tomorrow’s MLS Waiver Draft: Boyd Okwuonu, Phanuel Kavita, and Emery Welshman.
Okwuonu and Kavita could both provide attractive, affordable options. Both are available by virtue of having been waived (obviously, I suppose) and not being eligible for the MLS Re-Entry Draft.
Welshman made no appearances for Real Salt Lake in 2016 after undergoing back-to-back surgeries; Kavita and Okwuonu made one and two appearances, respectively.
The MLS Waiver Draft takes place tomorrow at 2 p.m. Eastern.
Below is the full list of options. Should Real Salt Lake look at any of these players? Some could provide cheap, effective options — others simply might be too expensive.

RSL Soapbox will have full coverage of tomorrow’s Waiver Draft, but don’t expect too much movement. In 2012, the club selected Cole Grossman from Columbus Crew. Last year, only one player was selected in the draft.
In 2015, only one Real Salt Lake player was available through the waiver draft: Demar Phillips.
