With Real Salt Lake down 1-0, Joao Plata and Stephen "Sunny" Sunday combined for a spectacular equalizing goal that left jaws gaping.
With his first shot in the league, he scored — that's not bad, especially considering he hasn't yet played 90 minutes. Just watch this beauty of a header come down — it's zipping across the box right into the upper-right corner.

And look at that pass — Joao Plata is magnificent here, with a low-flying outward-swinging cross. He finds an unmarked Sunny, and it's been hit with enough pace and with enough of an angle that it doesn't hit any other players coming through.
It's a remarkable goal. It's also the second headed goal of the match, with the first being the one that dropped RSL to that 1-0 deficit.

That one's less exciting for us, obviously, and it'll lead to continued questions about the efficacy of RSL's defense. That should be fun.
