Real Salt Lake already had three players suspended for Saturday's match, but the list of absences might be getting longer by the day.
Javier Morales, Salt Lake Tribune reporter Chris Kamrani was told today, is unlikely to play, owing to the rib issue that saw him substituted mid-match last week. Kamrani also reported that Olmes Garcia and Jamison Olave were participating in light jogging during the session.
This could be the second match Morales misses this season, having already missed a match on March 12 against Seattle Sounders.
That shouldn't necessarily be panic-inducing, but we'll give you a second in case it is, which is probably the case.
Alright.
So — if Morales is out, and if Garcia is out, what are we to do? Burrito Martinez, Jamison Olave, and Kyle Beckerman will all be absent already. Are five absences, four of them starters, too much for this RSL side to bear? We hope not, but let's take a look at a potential lineup for Saturday.

Beltran, Glad, Maund, Wingert
Stertzer, Sunny
Mulholland, Allen, Plata

You'll note here that we have Mulholland out wide. He spent some of his minutes playing there for Real Monarchs last weekend, and that gives us a small reason to expect it to be the case this time. After all, who else is going to play? Let's take a look at one other potential lineup.
Rimando
Beltran, Glad, Maund, Wingert
Mulholland, Sunny
Plata, Allen, Phillips
Movsisyan
Here, we'd get something out of Demar Phillips in an attacking role, we'd still get to see Luke Mulholland starting deeper in the midfield, and we'd bring more natural width to our attack.
Any other ideas, people? At least we'll get to test our depth early in the season instead of late — that's a silver lining, right?
