Real Salt Lake takes on a struggling Vancouver Whitecaps side tonight, and it's certain to be an interesting one. RSL will look to retain a solitary unbeaten state in the league, while Vancouver will want to bounce back from a 4-0 loss to D.C. United.
Here's how to watch this one.
How to watch
Time: 8 p.m. Mountain Daylight, 7 p.m. Pacific
Where: Rio Tinto Stadium; Sandy, Utah
Live stream: MLS Live (subscription, can watch on delay as well as live)
TV: KMYU (2.2 over-the-air; 12 satellite; 643 Comcast HD)
Radio, English: ESPN 700 (700 AM, espn700sports.com)
Radio, Spanish: 102.3 La Gran D FM / 1600 AM
Injuries and absences
- Sunny has been a mainstay for Real Salt Lake, but he might be out this time — he suffered a lower leg injury of some sort last week that could keep him out of the starting lineup.
- Javier Morales has been ill, and he might not be available from the outset. There's no saying whether he simply had a small cold or something worse, and at this point, don't be surprised if Jeff Cassar is simply trying to shield his cards a bit from Vancouver coach Carl Robinson.
Lineup options
In a worst-case scenario in which both players are out, I suspect it would look a little something like this:
Rimando; Beltran, Maund, Glad, Phillips; Beckerman, Stertzer; Plata, Allen, Martinez; Movsisyan
Or, you know — something like that.
